• The concrete lid of the existing subterranean boiler building, located in the heart of campus, was failing structurally due to age and students gathering on top

• This project consisted of resurfacing the lid with heavy duty traffic coating sealant, providing ADA access to the lid and replacing a small portion of the roof deck 

• Concrete stairs, walkway and fire line were added adjacent to the building

• A heavy timber student pavilion with water and electricity is included in the project, serving as a speaking area and stage for student and community events, replacing an aging gazebo that has served this function for many decades.
