Endeavor Elementary School includes two custom designed high performance demonstration classrooms.  We worked closely with the District and the Integrated Design Lab throughout the project to obtain funding from Idaho Power’s Building Efficiency program and other grant programs to offset the cost of these improvements.  

The design for Endeavor Elementary High Performance Classrooms includes the following items:

• Skylights with high performance glazing

• Direct/indirect lighting

• Dimmable T-8 ballasts with photo cell control

• Auto on/off occupancy lighting control

• High efficiency window glazing

• Indoor light shelves

• Energy recovery HVAC units

• Indirect evaporative cooling units

• Marmoleum flooring

• Natural fiberboard substrate for cabinetry

• Low and no VOC paints and adhesives

• Ceiling tiles with recycled content

• Natural fabric and substrate tackable panels
