Barbara Morgan Elementary School was opened to students and patrons of the McCall-Donnelly Joint School District in August of 2008.  The Board of Trustees made the decision to  set aside more than 10% of the projected construction budget specifically for “green” and high performance items.  This results in an elementary school that provides the best possible environment for both teaching and learning.  The following high performance features are included in the design:

  • Interior light shelves

  • High performance window glazing

  • Operable classroom windows

  • Interior clerestory windows at tutor rooms
